- Handling complex outpatient service cases (KVG/VVG)
- Review and processing of outpatient cost approvals considering legal, tariff, and internal guidelines
- Handling email enquiries, phone calls, and written correspondence
- Independent insurance-related clarifications in collaboration with the trusted doctor
- Communicating benefit decisions to insured persons and service providers as well as professional support and advice to service providers, internal specialist departments, agencies, and policyholders
- Training and professional support of new employees
- Co-designing and optimising processes and regulations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and digitalisation
What you bring
- Medical or commercial basic training
- Further training in social insurance
- Experience in a comparable role, ideally in the health insurance sector
- Very good knowledge in benefit assessment and a strong affinity for legal issues
- Committed, independent, and resilient personality
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical thinking as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills are an advantage
