About the job
The Cardiology Department provides diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, both outpatient and during hospitalisation.
Our department, currently expanding, works closely with other medical specialties to offer multidisciplinary and patient-centred care. Recognised as a category B ISFM postgraduate training institution, it offers a stimulating environment conducive to the development of clinical, technical and academic skills for doctors in training, with a specific focus on advanced imaging (cardiac MRI, coronary CT).
Chief Resident or Deputy Chief Resident 100% Cardiology Department
Your duties
- Care of outpatients and hospitalised patients within the Neuchâtel Hospital Network with cardiovascular diseases
- Participation in the organisation of the department and on-call rotations
- Participation in pre- and postgraduate training
Your profile
- Swiss or European medical degree
- FMH specialist title in cardiology or at least 2 years of specific cardiology training
- Excellent knowledge of echocardiography and basic knowledge of implanted device programming required
- Diplomas and titles registered in the medical professions register (MedReg)
- French language level B2, certified

Additional information
- Workplace: main site in Pourtalès, Neuchâtel (with mobility to the La Chaux-de-Fonds site) in Switzerland
- Start date: from 1 November 2026 on a fixed-term contract of one year
