About the job
Our offer
- Radio-oncology department recognised for its multidisciplinary care, mostly outpatient cutting-edge treatments, participation in clinical research (SAKK) and ISFM accreditation (FMH training centre category B).
- Approximately 740 new patients per year
- Technical platform including notably 2 Varian accelerators (Ethos® and TrueBeam®), Brilliance 64 simulation CT scanner (Philips®), PET/CT, SGRT systems, HDR brachytherapy and orthovoltage.
Your missions
- Supervise and develop the radio-oncology department ensuring optimal patient care
- Ensure organisation and coordination of care pathways in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Manage the medical and medico-economic activity of the department, ensuring quality and performance of services
- Lead, support and unite the medical team around common objectives
- Contribute to the strategic development of the oncology department. Depending on profile and experience, possibility to also assume leadership of the oncology department, ensuring its medical, organisational and strategic management
Your profile
- Swiss medical diploma, or equivalent title recognised by MEBEKO
- FMH specialist title in radio-oncology
- Experience as senior physician or head of university clinic desired
- Management training or interest in pursuing such training
- University affiliation
