Our emergency department treats & cares for around 26,000 patients per year and is constantly evolving. In addition to planned structural improvements, we want to improve our triage and patient admission in the near future with new colleagues. At the same time, the team should be strengthened during shifts.Are you someone who loves the often hectic and "bustling" operation of an emergency department, is open to continuous development, and is looking for a team that has worked together for many years – young colleagues & long-experienced "old hands" – then we look forward to receiving your application :-)
You will take on
- You will take on the initial treatment and care of emergency patients of all triage categories and specialties in an interdisciplinary treatment team.
- You are responsible for the care of the patients assigned to you during their stay in the emergency department.
- You work closely with all areas of the emergency department (plaster room, Fast Track and emergency practice) and support them in the primary care of patients.
- The assumption of administrative and organisational tasks rounds off your area of responsibility.
- You support our education officers in supervising HF apprentices, university of applied sciences students, health care assistants (FaGe), paramedic interns as well as nursing interns. In addition, you "take new assistant doctors by the hand" and support them in settling into emergency medicine.
You bring with you
- You have training as a qualified nurse HF/FH with several years of solid experience in the acute sector and have further qualified by completing the NDS HF Emergency Nursing.
- You are open to new challenges in a lively and constantly evolving emergency operation.
- In addition, you like to take responsibility and are able to keep an overview and set priorities correctly even in complex situations.
- We wish for a colleague with great joy in the profession, who places great importance on personal and empathetic care of the entrusted patients.
