Job Description
For the Quality Assurance team of our client – a globally leading high-tech industrial company headquartered in the Winterthur region – we are seeking a committed and quality-conscious individual for temporary reinforcement. In this role, you will make a significant contribution with your technical expertise to the successful execution of international major projects in the field of complex compressor and compressor systems.
The project is limited until May 2027
Quality Assurance Engineer 50% (m/f/d)
Your future daily work
- Quality processing: Independent quality assurance of compressors and components including careful inspection, documentation and interface coordination
- Specification & document review: Ensuring all relevant customer requirements, regulations from regulatory bodies as well as classification societies (including review of EN 10204 factory certificates, ZP and ZFP certificates)
- Inspector & customer support: Organisation, coordination and support of technical acceptance inspections with external inspectors and international customers directly on site
- Quality documentation: Creation, preparation and timely provision of project-specific quality documents
- Process & optimisation work: Participation in the definition and updating of local regulations as well as involvement/leadership of sustainable optimisation projects (CIP)

Qualifications
Your profile:
- Education: Completed technical basic training in mechanical or plant engineering; targeted further training in quality management is an advantage
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in an industrial environment desired
- Expertise: Knowledge in material testing, technical documentation as well as experience with international regulations and classification societies is advantageous
- IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Personality & languages: Independent, assertive and team-oriented personality with very good German and good English skills
