Mental crises and stressful situations require quick orientation, professional confidence, and a listening ear. As the first point of contact for patients and referrers, you play a key role in ensuring that people receive the appropriate treatment at the right time. In our team, you take on a central role in the admission and triage process. With your expertise, empathy, and organisational skills, you ensure that enquiries are professionally coordinated, situations are correctly assessed, and the next treatment steps are purposefully initiated.
Your tasks
- You coordinate enquiries and referrals and ensure needs-based triage into the appropriate treatment units
- You conduct counselling, indication, and admission interviews with patients and referrers
- You initiate the treatment process, carry out nursing initial assessments, and act professionally and appropriately in acute crisis situations
- You coordinate bed allocation and ensure a smooth admission process
- You collect relevant admission data, document it carefully, and open cases in the clinical information system
- You work closely with various professional groups and contribute to high-quality patient care
Your profile
- You have completed training as a Certified Nurse HF/FH and already have experience in psychiatric acute care
- You appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration and enjoy working with different stakeholders
- You act independently, in a structured manner, and keep an overview even in demanding situations
- You communicate clearly, empathetically, and make decisions confidently and responsibly
- You enjoy direct contact with people and treat them with respect and professionalism
- You have very good German language skills and are proficient in using digital tools and office applications
