Head of Accounting and Bookkeeping (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 135,000Role:
In this role, you take overall responsibility for accounting and bookkeeping, ensuring that all financial processes are carried out correctly, on time, and in compliance with legal requirements. You are responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing a reliable basis for informed management decisions. Additionally, you manage and optimise internal processes, implement efficient control mechanisms, and ensure transparency in financial metrics. You are the central contact person for internal and external stakeholders on all accounting and finance-related matters. Through your professional expertise, you contribute significantly to the further development of the finance department and the professionalisation of financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- You take responsibility for the entire general and subsidiary ledger accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting
- In this role, you prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements on time according to applicable guidelines
- As Head of Accounting and Bookkeeping, you prepare meaningful financial reports, KPI analyses, and decision templates for management
- You actively support budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes
- In this role, you act as the main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities during annual audits
- As Head of Accounting and Bookkeeping, you drive the further development and digitalisation of financial processes as well as ERP system updates
Qualifications:
- You have several years of professional experience at a professional level in a comparable role
- You work independently, reliably, and take responsibility for your areas of work
- You communicate clearly and professionally with various internal and external contacts
- You work in a structured manner, keep an overview even in hectic phases, and confidently set priorities
- You are team-oriented, actively help, and contribute to positive collaboration
- You demonstrate high service orientation, flexibility, and a willingness to continuously develop your professional skills
