For our ROCKEN partner, a cantonal institution in the real estate sector located in Lucerne, we are looking for an experienced leader to head the Portfolio Management department. As a member of the executive board, you are jointly responsible for the further development and strategic orientation of your area as well as the entire real estate service department. You represent the ownership interests of the canton and are responsible for the economic, ecological and socially responsible development of a demanding cantonal real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities:
You lead the Portfolio Management department, consisting of specialists in portfolio management and land acquisition
You competently and independently represent the canton’s ownership interests as its representative
You are responsible for real estate strategies in the relevant committees and represent the department in demanding development projects
You support the departments and users in developing their needs and validating space requirements
You manage the processes for purchase and sale transactions as well as the establishment of building rights and easements
You take the lead in preparing the long-term investment planning and act as a client within the department
Qualifications:
You have a higher education qualification in real estate and/or construction, e.g. as an architect or civil engineer with business management training, or a business degree with experience or training in construction planning
You bring several years of solid professional experience in the real estate and/or construction sector
You excel in complex problem-solving with analytical and conceptual skills
You present yourself confidently and convince with skilful negotiation competence as well as the ability to find viable solutions with various stakeholders
You have a high proficiency in the German language and confidence in written expression as well as an interest in political processes
