Maintenance Mechanic (a)

jobgate ag is a personnel service company based in Aarau, specialising in the placement and leasing of skilled personnel in the fields of mechanics, technology, IT, commercial professions, logistics, timber construction, chemistry and the construction ancillary trades.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic (a) by arrangement.

• Supervision and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant
• Carrying out maintenance work on various production plants
• Troubleshooting and repair of production plants
• Mechanical support for projects and conversions
• Relocation of machines and equipment
• Procurement of necessary spare parts and components
• Planning and execution of plant overhauls within own area of responsibility
• Performing locksmith work
• Conventional machining of parts (turning, drilling, milling)
• Clean documentation of completed work
• Maintaining supplier contacts
• Ordering consumables and spare parts (according to agreed order amount)
• Planning maintenance operations within own area of activity
• Participation and active involvement in projects and improvements

• Completed basic mechanical training
• Experience in handling chemical and fluid technology
• Good knowledge of pneumatics
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Independent, structured and reliable working method
• High sense of duty and quality awareness
• Team spirit and promotion of a good working atmosphere

• Varied activity with fixed customer environment and changing assignments
