The OST B 1+2 department (Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery) is looking for a committed and experienced nursing professional for the role of Trainer. You will take on a central role in the training of apprentices and students and actively contribute to the further development and quality assurance of education in our department. As part of the department's leadership team (Shared Governance), you will help shape the future of nursing education with us.

What to expect:
- Development and planning of learning units: Together with the education officer at level 5 or 6, you are responsible for designing, planning and evaluating practice-oriented learning units
- Promotion and qualification of apprentices and students: You support our apprentices and students through targeted advice, accompany them in their learning process and ensure high-quality training
- Conducting interviews and competency assessments: You conduct entry, progress and internship qualification interviews and document the learning processes in a structured manner
- Advice and support for the team: You advise and support your colleagues in supervising trainees and thus contribute to the professional development of the entire team
- Quality assurance and further development of education: In close cooperation with the education officer, you implement measures for quality assurance and actively contribute to the further development of education in the department
- Expert for educational topics: As a contact person for all questions regarding education in the department, you ensure the flow of information and actively engage with professional and educational policy developments
- Participation in working groups and projects: You participate in various projects and working groups to further develop the department and nursing service
- Active involvement in patient care: You also bring your professional expertise directly into patient care and actively participate in daily nursing work to optimally coordinate training and practice
- Co-design in the LAG: You actively work in the department's learning and working community (LAG) and support its implementation and further development
What you bring:
- Completed training as a Dipl. Nurse HF/FH
- Further education in the field of education, e.g. SVEB or CAS in Education
- Solid professional experience in education as well as knowledge of the Swiss education system
- High communication and teamwork skills as well as a structured way of working
- Enjoyment in working with apprentices and students as well as pedagogical skills
- Experience in practical supervision and conducting competency assessments
