Head of Aerospace Engineering (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the global aerospace business along strategic and financial goals
Leadership, motivation and development of an international team as well as expansion of future-proof structures and competencies
Further development of the global market position and strategic customer relationships
Management of the international key account management and enabling the sales units
Responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, controlling and pricing
Early identification of market and technology trends and derivation of strategic fields of action
Management of customer-specific development projects and further development of the product and system portfolio
Ensuring compliance with aerospace-specific regulatory requirements in cooperation with the relevant departments
Qualifications:
Completed master's degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, microtechnology or industrial engineering; MBA advantageous
At least 5 years of leadership experience in an international industrial environment
Extensive experience in the aerospace industry and ideally along the entire value chain
Proven success in business, organisational and product development
Experience in multinational and multicultural structures
Entrepreneurial thinking, negotiation skills and a convincing manner
Strong hands-on mentality, initiative and sense of responsibility
Fluent German and English skills; additional languages advantageous
