Automation Fitter / Polymechanic (m/f/d)

For a renowned technology company in the canton of Lucerne, which employs around 90 specialists in the field of industrial automation and
energy distribution delivering top performance, we are looking for a skilled Automation Fitter or Polymechanic with a Federal VET Diploma for the production of energy distribution systems and switch cabinet construction. In this demanding workshop role, you will significantly shape the quality of highly complex
low-voltage main distributions (LVMD up to 4000A). You will work in a state-of-the-art equipped infrastructure (including CNC-supported copper bending machines) for well-known customers from the food, pharmaceutical, and mechanical engineering sectors.

Your Tasks

• Independent production, wiring, and assembly of customer-specific energy distribution systems (systems from Schneider Electric, Hager, ABB)
• Carrying out retrofit work, conversion, and modernisation of existing switchgear
• Occasional delivery, final assembly, and adjustments directly at the customer’s site
• Partial assumption of sub-project manager tasks in switch cabinet construction
• Quality inspection and functional checks according to applicable standards and schematic documents

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as an automation technician with Federal VET Diploma, automation fitter with Federal VET Diploma, polymechanic with Federal VET Diploma, electrical installer with Federal VET Diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Solid practical experience in switchgear construction as well as in the production of energy distribution systems
• Driving licence category B required
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
• Precise, structured working method and enthusiasm for modern workshop technology
