Senior IT System Engineer (m/f/d)

- You maintain and develop the system environment with clients, printers, servers, network, Azure, M365, SaaS solutions, and backup
- In this role, you take on 1st and 2nd level support at the Duggingen site and Herten in Germany
- As a Senior IT System Engineer, you coordinate external service providers for 3rd level support
- You design the IT system architecture and lead projects as well as continuous improvement processes
- In this role, you share responsibility for IT security and document the system landscape and processes
- As a Senior IT System Engineer, you work closely with the specialist departments and supervise up to two apprentices
Qualifications:
- You have a solid IT education (IT specialist EFZ platform development, system technology or similar) and experience in 2nd level support as well as server infrastructure
- You work independently, in a structured manner, and are characterised by networked and analytical thinking
- You are a flexible, solution-oriented personality with an understanding of business and administrative processes
- You have proven experience with Microsoft Client and Windows Server, M365 Cloud (Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, etc.), Veeam, VMWare as well as basic network knowledge
- You are enthusiastic about new technologies and are willing to continuously develop yourself through training and certifications
- You hold a category B driving licence
