Shaping security and innovation in the network: Our client, a public administration with comprehensive IT services, is looking for an experienced professional to operate and further develop a complex, canton-wide communication network. Your Tasks
- Operation of around 350 modern SD networks in the DC and access areas
- Support of several next-generation firewall clusters as well as the canton-wide MPLS network
- 2nd-level support in the network area as well as consulting for departments and schools on network security
- Collaboration in the zoning of services and implementation of firewall exceptions
- Maintenance and further development of a modern zero-trust architecture
- Creative development of solutions and concepts for demanding customer projects
Our Requirements
- Education in computer science or equivalent further training, Cisco certification CCNP
- Several years of experience in the network field: firewall, VPN, identity services, 802.1X/MAB, DNS/DHCP, IP/MPLS, LAN, WLAN
- Interest in technical advancement and affinity for innovations in network security
- Strong organisational skills, flexibility, and very good German language skills in spoken and written form
- Driving licence category B and willingness for on-call duty (approx. every two months)
