The Social Paediatric Centre (SPZ) is an organisational unit at the Centre for Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of the Winterthur Cantonal Hospital. The therapy ward for children and adolescents was established for the inpatient psychosomatics area.
The therapy ward caters for a total of 12-14 patients who are treated for psychosomatic illnesses (including eating disorders, depression, pain disorders). The children and adolescents are cared for and supported during the day by an interdisciplinary team consisting of social pedagogues and nursing professionals in a milieu-therapeutic setting. During the night, patient care is ensured by a nursing professional.

Your tasks
- You ensure the smooth running of the day-night-day rhythm
- You are responsible for implementing professional care, nursing and social support, taking into account modern nursing and treatment concepts as well as nursing standards
- You carry out therapeutic and medical orders
- Maintaining nursing documentation, planning and control tasks as well as administrative work are also part of your duties
Your profile
- Training as a qualified nurse HF/FH, with at least 2 years of current professional experience in a somatic acute hospital
- High decision-making competence, confident demeanour and good communication skills
- Strong independence, social skills and resilience
- Goal- and solution-oriented working
- Organisational talent, good IT user skills as well as good oral and written German skills
