Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Scope of Influence

• Design and further development of our data-driven organisation by contributing your own ideas
• Development of scalable data warehouse and reporting solutions (using Data Vault, dbt and Spark)
• Integration of data from various sources and development of reliable data pipelines
• Ensuring high-quality data for reporting and analytics (using Power BI)
• Optimisation of existing business processes regarding performance, stability and data quality
• Participation in the further development of our system landscape towards modern cloud architecture
• Contribution to topics such as governance, CI/CD and engineering standards
• Close collaboration with departments and support in data-based decision-making

Your Experience

• Several years of experience in data engineering or a comparable role, ideally in a cloud environment
• Experience in building and further developing data warehouse or analytics solutions
• Knowledge of relevant technologies (Databricks, Spark, dbt, Azure Data Factory, SQL or Python)
• Experience in building and optimising data pipelines and ELT processes
• Understanding of data quality, governance and structured data models (e.g. Data Vault is an advantage)
• Experience with modern development practices (e.g. CI/CD, Git) is an advantage
• Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders and finding solutions together
• Structured, independent working style and interest in continuous development
