About the job
At SIGA, we strive for a world where buildings do not waste energy. SIGA produces a completely airtight, energy-efficient building envelope made of high-quality membranes, sealing tapes, and sealants, which are distributed worldwide. Today, more than 650 employees in 23 countries work to realise this vision. As part of our trainee programme, you will gain comprehensive insight into the areas of product development, quality management, and application technology. Together, we develop innovative solutions that help make buildings more energy-efficient and bring us step by step closer to our vision. At the same time, we ensure the highest quality standards and support our customers with practical solutions that make a sustainable difference worldwide.
Are you ready to contribute to exciting projects, learn new things, and actively shape SIGA's future through cross-departmental assignments?
Programme Structure
In your 12-month trainee programme, you will get to know the areas of Application Engineering, Quality Management, and Product Development. For four months each, you will work as a full team member in the respective departments, take on responsibility, and develop a deep understanding of our products, processes, and customer needs.
- Application Engineering: You accompany customer projects, analyse technical challenges, conduct application tests on construction sites, and develop practical solutions for our customers.
- Quality Management: You support quality assurance along the entire value chain, participate in certifications, and drive process improvements. Part of this assignment takes place at our site in Halberstadt (Germany).
- Product Development: You develop and test prototypes in the laboratory as well as on construction sites and gain valuable insights into the entire product development process.
During the programme, you will build a strong network within SIGA and with our customers, work on cross-departmental topics, and develop the skills to take on responsibility in a leadership role in the future.
