Nursing Assistant M/F in Psychiatry Vaud Coast Region

• Provide basic care and general hygiene for patients hospitalised in the psychiatry ward.
• Actively participate in the daily support, well-being and safety of patients.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and empathetically, in close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (nurses, doctors, psychologists).
• Observe and report changes in patients’ health or behaviour.
• Contribute to the facilitation of therapeutic or occupational activities

Your profile:

• You hold a Nursing Assistant diploma or an equivalent qualification;
• You have at least 2 years’ experience as a Nursing Assistant;
• Previous experience of 1 to 3 years in a hospital setting, ideally in psychiatry or mental health.
• Excellent listening skills, strong emotional stability and solid interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and demonstrate autonomy in work organisation.
• You are comfortable with IT tools;
• You know how to manage emergency situations with professionalism and composure;
• You are available for regular, occasional or short-notice assignments according to your availability.
