About the job
For one of our partners in the canton of Fribourg, we are looking for a:
Quality Controller 2.0
Your mission:
Carry out rigorous checks of movements to ensure their quality and manage the corresponding flows in compliance with cadence, deadline, and safety requirements
Responsibilities
Checks watch heads according to the control range and defined criteria and highlights any defects
* Performs various functional checks of parts using appropriate tools and according to established control ranges or available plans
* Makes decisions on acceptance, rejection, downgrading, or destruction in accordance with the House policy
* In case of non-compliance, diagnoses the interventions to be carried out and returns parts for correction or repair
Ensures the IT management of products
* Receives products and enters data into information systems
* Records the control result in the IT system
* Monitors defective parts
Ensures reporting of activities
* Collects quality data and shares it with teams, quality product managers, and their supervisor
* Capitalises on feedback
Supports production teams
* Communicates and enforces defined requirements according to products
* Acts as the contact for workshops and provides expertise during detection of non-compliance
* Checks products during manufacturing as needed
Participates in continuous improvement of the work environment
* Proposes quality improvements (control range, typical defect panels, definition plans, ...)
Versatility
* Able to perform occasional tasks in the final watch control sector
* Able to perform occasional tasks in watch assembly
Respects Hygiene, Safety, and Security rules at their workstation and within the Manufacture
Qualifications
Profile
* Technical or watchmaking training (AFP watchmaking operator)
* Plan reading
* TQ1 training is a plus
* Good knowledge of products (watches and movements)
* Knowledge of control ranges and tools
* Judgement ability
* Flexibility, reliability, and rigour
* Sense of observation and attention to detail
* Experience with product aesthetic criteria
* Proficiency with IT tools, SAP is a plus
* Reactivity and stress resistance
