Client Representative: Building Services Engineering

In this project manager position in EKZ Energy Contracting, you are responsible for the timely, cost-efficient, and technically flawless implementation of refurbishment projects on existing contracting systems – focusing on building services engineering systems in heating/cooling and electrical areas. In doing so, you take responsibility with us, plan your projects independently, and drive them forward with your technical understanding and your drive. You act in many respects like a client, set the pace, and work in a young team with lots of experience and strong cohesion. What to expect

• You manage replacement renewal projects of building services engineering systems – from clarifying project specifications to technical and scheduling implementation.
• You confidently coordinate interfaces with customers, third parties, and other systems, ensuring a smooth project process.
• You prepare approvals, plans, principle schematics, and control descriptions for the MSRL in a structured manner with an eye on the big picture.
• You are also responsible for tendering, negotiating, and awarding contracts to contractors and components.
• You keep costs, deadlines, and technical system conditions under control at all times and ensure clean reporting.
• On site, you coordinate implementation, support the MSRL, and ensure complete documentation including revision documents after commissioning.

What you bring

• You have training in building services engineering (EFZ) and have furthered your education at HF level – or have a comparable background.
• Several years of experience in project management of building services or energy projects, ideally in refurbishment and replacement renewals.
• You work confidently with AutoCAD LT and are also professionally at home in HVAC hydraulics.
• You are passionate about technology: knowledge of electrical systems and operating modes is a plus and helps you in everyday project work.
• You think in networks, approach topics in a structured way, and find practical solutions even for more complex issues.
• Personal responsibility is natural for you: you work proactively, precisely, and with a good sense of cost, quality, and efficiency.
• In exchange with colleagues, customers, administrations, and authorities, you score with clear communication, team spirit, and willingness to share your knowledge.
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
