Role:
You take on the electrical engineering project responsibility for demanding plant construction projects – from technical planning through implementation to commissioning at the customer’s site. You coordinate various project partners, ensure the proper design of electrical components, and make sure that all relevant technical requirements and standards are met.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the electrical planning and implementation of plant construction projects across all project phases.
You select electrical components, carry out their design, and coordinate the corresponding procurement.
You liaise closely with customers, suppliers, and internal departments and act as the central interface for electrical engineering topics.
You support control cabinet construction, electrical installation, functional tests, and commissioning.
You accompany the technical implementation on site and ensure smooth commissioning of the plants.
You ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
You assist with topics related to control technology, sensor/actuator technology, and plant automation.
You undertake occasional business trips within Switzerland and neighbouring countries, amounting to approximately 10-20%.
Qualifications:
You have training in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or a comparable technical qualification.
Ideally, you have completed further training as a technician, a degree at a higher technical college (HF), or a bachelor in engineering or a comparable qualification.
Experience with electrical CAD systems such as WSCAD, EPLAN, or comparable applications is an advantage.
Ideally, you bring knowledge in control cabinet construction, control technology, sensor/actuator technology, or plant automation.
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner and keep an overview even in complex projects.
You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills for international collaboration.
You are willing to travel occasionally for project assignments.
You hold a valid category B driving licence.
