Responsibilities
- Leading the kitchen team in the absence of the kitchen management
- Ensuring an efficient service process and optimal teamwork
- Guaranteeing the proper storage and production of food
- Supporting purchasing, inventory management, and adherence to food costs
- Supervising and promoting employees as a representative of the kitchen management
- Compliance with and monitoring of operational hygiene and quality standards
- Preparation of menus and à la carte dishes
- Creation of daily specials as well as participation in events and banquets
Requirements
- Completed training in gastronomy or hotel management
- Several years of experience in international or Asian cuisine
- Strong social skills, assertiveness, and empathy in dealing with diverse employees
- Creative and independent personality with a passion for the culinary profession and enjoyment of guest contact
- Enthusiasm and flair for Asian cuisine
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; additional language skills are an advantage
