Our client is a successful, owner-managed company in Eastern Switzerland specialising in high-quality painting work for administrations, architects, general contractors, as well as discerning private clients. The company is steadily growing and for this reason we are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded individual as Project Manager Painting and Deputy Managing Director 100% (a), who will operationally relieve the Managing Director and independently manage demanding projects.

Responsibilities

In this responsible position, you will independently lead demanding painting projects and actively support the Managing Director in day-to-day operations as well as in the further development of the company. Additional tasks include:

• Management and execution of large projects in the painting sector
• Responsibility for quality, deadlines, costs, as well as claims and billing
• Leadership, deployment planning and professional support of employees on construction sites
• Contact person for architects, administrations, clients and other stakeholders
• Participation in optimising processes, structures and efficiency improvements

Requirements

You are a strong leadership and practice-oriented personality from the painting trade, who thinks entrepreneurially, takes responsibility and keeps an overview even in hectic situations. Furthermore, you bring:

• Completed training as a painter EFZ with further education as a master painter, project manager, site manager or comparable
• Several years of experience in managing demanding construction sites and projects
• Leadership experience as well as pronounced organisational skills
• Entrepreneurial, reliable and structured working style
• Good communication skills in Swiss German and residence in the St. Gallen region
