Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional as a Service Technician Refrigeration Technology / Building Technology to manage modern building technical systems. You will ensure the reliable operation of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems and independently carry out maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. Another focus is on fault diagnosis, system optimisation, and operational safety as well as supporting commissioning and acceptance procedures. The position combines demanding service technology with direct customer contact and a versatile area of deployment in technical building infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the reliable operation of refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pump, and building technical systems
Independently performing maintenance, inspection, servicing, and repair work
Systematic fault analysis and diagnosis of refrigeration and electrical components
Carrying out fault rectification as well as replacement and repair of defective system components
Checking and optimising system parameters, energy efficiency, and operational safety
Supporting commissioning, functional tests, and technical acceptance
Performing preventive maintenance and servicing measures to increase system availability
Technical advice to customers on site and identifying optimisation and renovation potentials
Preparing quotation bases for repairs, servicing, and technical adjustments
Participation in the on-call service and handling urgent technical faults
Creating and maintaining service reports, maintenance protocols, system documentation, and performance records
Qualifications:
Completed training with EFZ in refrigeration, ventilation, air conditioning, building, or electrical engineering, ideally as a certified refrigeration system mechanic EFZ
Professional experience in refrigeration and building technology, preferably with refrigeration systems and heat pump systems
Practical experience in maintenance, service, fault diagnosis, and servicing of building technical systems
Good knowledge of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump technology as well as basic knowledge of electrical engineering and control technology
Connection permit according to NIV Art. 15 is an advantage
Experience with on-call service and technical service documentation
Driving licence category B as well as good German language skills
