About the job
The Hospitals of Schaffhausen include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for about 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For the long-term psychiatry at the Breitenau Psychiatric Centre, we are looking for a Dipl. Nurse HF 70% to start immediately or by arrangement.
On our 4 long-term psychiatry wards, each with 18 beds, chronically mentally ill women and men with cognitive impairments, limitations in independent living and daily life management, or pronounced behavioural abnormalities are cared for. Furthermore, the wards offer low-threshold rehabilitation programmes for patients who subsequently return to their original environments or transfer to another institution.
