One-year internship for a commercial employee with a Federal VET Diploma and professional maturity (3+1) at the Neuchâtel Police

• As the true gateway to the commander, the executive secretariat plays a central role in the organisation, coordination and monitoring of the activities of the Neuchâtel Police Directorate. It supports the management in its daily operations, ensures the smooth flow of information within the institution and maintains links with the department, inter-cantonal conferences, as well as with citizens. It is also responsible for organising events and contributes to the smooth running of the institution.

Your main tasks consist of supporting the executive secretariat in the organisation, coordination and execution of activities related to this sector.

In addition, you welcome citizens at the counter and direct them to the appropriate service.

You also carry out administrative tasks related to reception, such as registering minor complaints, statistics and handling correspondence.

Currently training for the professional maturity in economics and services through the integrated 4-year programme (3+1), you will complete the 3rd year next summer and demonstrate good prospects for success in the final year.

You have a genuine interest in the police field and possess a good level of French, good computer skills, empathy and a real ability to listen to others.

Meticulous in carrying out your tasks, you know how to organise yourself, meet deadlines and demonstrate administrative rigour.

Finally, your criminal record and debt enforcement extract are clean.
