Role:
Our client is an internationally oriented trading company in the fields of DIY, construction, renovation, and gardening. The company offers a wide range of products for private and professional customers, combining an extensive product range with expert advice and service-oriented offerings.

Responsibilities:
You ensure reliable and high-quality group financial statement preparation for international group companies.
You critically review the financial information provided, identify discrepancies, and coordinate open issues with the responsible contacts on site.
You handle all essential consolidation steps, from capital and debt consolidation to expense and income elimination as well as currency translation.
You contribute to the preparation of the group balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, notes, and management report and develop meaningful analyses.
You work closely with internal specialists and external auditors and support the further development of consolidation and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
You have a solid education in finance and accounting or an equivalent qualification.
You have already gained practical experience in group accounting, group consolidation, or auditing.
You understand the essential rules and procedures of group-level consolidation.
You are proficient in Excel and confident in handling complex numbers and financial data.
You work in a structured, independent, and team-oriented manner and communicate well in German and English.
