For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the Aarau AG area, we are looking for a technically strong and structured personality as an Electrical Designer Plant Engineering / Hardware Engineering 80-100% (m/f).
In this role, you plan and design electrical systems for industrial plants, controls, and technical assemblies. You create electrical documentation, define components, and support projects from technical clarification to production-ready documentation.
- Creating circuit diagrams, terminal plans, cable lists, parts lists, and switch cabinet documentation
- Defining hardware components such as controls, drives, sensors, actuators, and protective devices
- Technical clarifications with project management, automation, purchasing, assembly, production, and suppliers
- Developing engineering documents for switch cabinet construction, installation, and commissioning
- Handling customer-specific requirements, adjustments, and technical changes
- Supporting standards clarifications, safety concepts, and technical tests
- Maintaining ECAD data, articles, macros, and project documentation
- Participating in standardisation and improvement of engineering processes
- Experience in electrical design, hardware engineering, plant engineering or control engineering
- Good knowledge of EPLAN P8, AutoCAD Electrical, Zuken E3 or comparable ECAD system
- Understanding of switch cabinet construction, control technology, drives, field devices and electrical safety
- Knowledge of standards, machinery directives and industrial safety requirements is an advantage
- Ability to systematically capture technical requirements and implement them into clean solutions
- Precise, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage

Profile
- Completed technical training as an automation technician, electrical planner, electrical designer, electrical engineer HF or comparable qualification- Experience in electrical design, hardware engineering, plant engineering or control engineering
