Head Nurse of the Operating Theatre at 80-100%

Our operating theatre offers a sharp and efficient multidisciplinary technical platform with eleven multisite operating rooms across the La Chaux-de-Fonds and Pourtalès sites. On a daily basis, it is a dynamic and highly specialised team that cares for patients requiring scheduled or emergency surgical intervention.

Your missions

• Lead and supervise a team of 80 collaborators at the Pourtalès site (Neuchâtel)
• Manage and coordinate the organisation of operating theatre activities including the IDDO, TSO and ATSSO teams
• Ensure efficient patient care and maintain quality of care in compliance with current protocols and recommendations
• Collaborate with the counterpart at the La Chaux-de-Fonds site to guarantee organisational coherence and harmonisation of practices between the two operating theatres
• Ensure the application of professional ethics principles and the dissemination of care values
• Functional supervision of teams, support for new arrivals and ensure skills development within the service (continuing education)
• Optimally organise the activity sector in collaboration with various partners.
• Participate in the overall management of the operating theatre with partners

Your profile

• HES Nurse diploma (or equivalent recognised CRS title) with operating theatre specialisation (IDDO)
• Authorisation to practise a health profession in the canton of Neuchâtel
• Minimum 3 years professional experience as a scrub nurse
• Management training, proximity management or willingness to undertake training
• Experience in team management is an asset
