Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a Project Manager / Project Engineer Infrastructure Construction for demanding projects in municipal and cantonal civil engineering. The focus is on the planning and design of roads, utility lines, civil engineering structures, and general traffic infrastructure across the relevant SIA phases. Depending on professional experience, you will independently take on project or subproject management and be responsible for the technical, scheduling, and economic control. Additionally, you will contribute to sustainable infrastructure concepts and the further development of digital planning methods such as BIM/VDC.
Responsibilities:
Planning and design of demanding road, utility line, and civil engineering projects for public and private clients
Processing and management of infrastructure projects across the relevant SIA phases from study to realisation and commissioning
Development of preliminary projects, construction projects, execution projects, and detailed planning
Design and coordination of road systems, utility lines, drainage, and civil engineering structures
Preparation of technical reports, cost estimates, cost proposals, and project documentation
Preparation of tender and submission documents as well as support in awarding procedures
Coordination of clients, authorities, specialist planners, utility owners, and other project participants
Technical, scheduling, and economic project management including cost, quality, and schedule controlling
Support of construction management and realisation as well as assistance with technical questions on site
Participation in sustainable infrastructure concepts in the areas of sponge city, slow traffic, watercourse space, and climate adaptation
Coordination of interdisciplinary interfaces with geotechnics, hydraulic engineering, structural planning, and traffic
Participation in the implementation and further development of digital planning processes with BIM/VDC and model-based design
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a civil engineer FH/ETH or comparable technical education
Professional experience in the planning and design of road, utility line, or general civil engineering projects
Several years of experience in technical, scheduling, and financial project management for a project management role
Sound knowledge of Swiss SIA standards as well as planning and approval procedures
Experience with tenders, cost planning, and technical project documentation is an advantage
Knowledge of BIM/VDC and digital infrastructure planning is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
