Role:

In this role, you will take on an exciting and varied range of tasks that provide you with deep insights into the end-to-end processes of a global industrial company and enable you to work actively with modern software solutions such as SAP S/4HANA and Tagetik. You will build a strong network at national and international levels and act as a business partner close to the action, using your controlling expertise to directly influence the company’s success. You will actively shape process optimisations and contribute to efficient, transparent control instruments. You will work in a dynamic, modern, and collaborative environment that places great value on team spirit and mutual support. Additionally, you will benefit from flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths that allow you to implement your ideas quickly.

Responsibilities:

• You act as a business partner for management, functions, and the Group Finance team
• In this role, you share responsibility as a key user for SAP-CO within the SUHNER Group
• As a controller, you actively participate in operational controlling for the sites in Switzerland and Germany as well as in the preparation of budgets and forecasts in Tagetik
• You drive optimisations of processes and systems with a focus on SAP S/4HANA
• In this role, you share responsibility for profit and market segment accounting (CO-PA) and conduct profitability analyses including monitoring of gross profit margins and cost centres
• As a controller, you ensure deputising in plant controlling and carry out controls to comply with the internal control system

Qualifications:

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration (FH/university) with a focus on (digital) finance/controlling or data management, or you are a specialist in finance and accounting with a federal diploma or CAS Controlling
• You have practical professional experience in controlling, ideally in a manufacturing industrial company
• You are confident in using SAP FI/CO and have a strong IT and data affinity
• You bring a solid understanding of operational accounting combined with strong analytical skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented working style
• You show high initiative, set the right priorities in a dynamic environment, and communicate excellently in German and English
• You are a strong team player and gladly take on the role of internal sparring partner with a view of the bigger picture
