About the job
The Baumer Group is an internationally leading manufacturer of sensors and measuring instruments for factory and process automation. We owe this success to our approximately 2,800 employees worldwide, who are always passionately, expertly, and committedly searching for the best solutions for our customers.
The headquarters in Frauenfeld (Thurgau) sets the pace for the globally sought-after Baumer sensor solutions. Around 700 employees from engineering, product management, manufacturing, logistics, sales, and services work closely together here: engineers continuously develop new solutions, while the production and logistics teams ensure that the sensors arrive at customers on time and in Baumer quality.
Nothing works without sensors – and certainly not trains! Sensors are the invisible heroes that ensure trains speed safely through the area, arrive punctually at their destination, and also protect the environment. They make rail travel smarter, more comfortable, and more reliable – and this is exactly where you come in! As our new Technical Product Manager, you are the pace-setter for the coolest features a train has to offer. You actively shape megatrends such as CO2 reduction and urbanisation – and that with one of the most sustainable means of transport humanity has ever invented: the railway. I look forward to meeting you. Peter Grollmann Head of Product Center Motion Control
