For our residences hosting ageing persons with intellectual disabilities, within our accommodation sector, we are seeking two
Social-Educational Assistants (ASE) at 80%
Your mission
- Participate in the key stages of the support project for resident persons: reception, interdisciplinary activities, personal care, assistance with daily living tasks, and interdisciplinary meetings;
- Actively contribute to the smooth running of the residence where the ASE works as well as the overall care of the resident persons;
- Ensure safety and guarantee a good quality of life for each resident person;
- Promote the fulfilment of resident persons by valuing self-determination and the development of their skills through monitoring individualised socio-educational projects, validated by the referring educator;
- Carry out routine administrative tasks related to the role;
- Participate in educational projects linked to the sector.
Your profile
- You hold the ASE Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) or an equivalent qualification recognised by SEFRI;
- You have solid experience with ageing persons with disabilities and are familiar with the CDPH;
- You know the Geneva socio-educational and socio-medical networks;
- You are able to adapt flexibly and responsively to emergency situations;
- You demonstrate rigour, autonomy, and organisation, with a real sense of teamwork and communication;
- You show listening skills, availability, and perseverance in facing daily challenges;
- You are comfortable with administrative tasks as well as IT and office tools;
- You are willing to work irregular hours, at night, and on weekends.
Contract type: permanent contract
Activity rate: 80%
