Your future environment
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a leading hospital institution located in the Lausanne region, active in highly specialised surgical care.
You will work within units of:
- vascular surgery (arterial and venous pathologies, complex pre- and post-operative care),
- cardiac surgery (patients in pre- and post-interventional phases, close clinical monitoring).

Main responsibilities
- Provide specialised nursing care to patients receiving care in vascular and/or cardiac surgery
- Closely monitor the clinical condition of patients in pre- and post-operative phases
- Early identification of signs of complications and act appropriately
- Actively collaborate with the medical and interprofessional team
- Strictly apply protocols, standards and procedures specific to surgical care
- Ensure precise and compliant documentation of care provided
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, safety and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and good geriatric practice standards
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor of Health Sciences in nursing or foreign diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- Two years’ experience in a hospital setting, ideally with initial experience in surgery, acute care, vascular or cardiac surgery
- Strong interest in technical care and management of complex patients
- Rigour, sense of responsibility and ability to manage high-demand situations
- Ease in working within an interprofessional team
- Knowledge of the Soarian software is an asset
- Autonomy and responsiveness
