About the job
We are looking for a fitter carpenter specialising in interior fitting, particularly in kitchen installation. The role is set within a professional environment where precision, meeting deadlines, and quality of execution are priorities. The appointed person will mainly work on interior fitting sites, with a particular focus on the assembly, adjustment, and finishing of kitchens. This position requires excellent mastery of fitting techniques, a good ability to read and interpret plans, as well as a structured approach to daily work. Collaboration with other site workers is also essential to ensure an efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the complete installation of kitchens on site, respecting plans, technical instructions, and assembly tolerances defined by the client or manufacturer.
- Carry out the assembly, adjustment, and fixing of fitting elements, including carcasses, worktops, and cladding, ensuring a neat and durable finish.
- Perform necessary on-site cutting using portable machines and hand tools, while adhering to current safety standards.
- Check measurements, levels, and alignment of all installed elements to ensure correct integration into the designated space and optimal functionality.
- Coordinate your work with other trades present on site, notably electricians and sanitary installers, to minimise rework and work interruptions.
- Ensure tidiness, cleanliness, and safety of your work area at the end of the day, properly managing kitchen fitting waste.
Profile
- Completed secondary education, ideally in a technical or manual field related to construction or carpentry.
- Strong interest in interior fitting work and kitchen installation, with a commitment to uphold the company’s quality standards.
- Ability to work in a structured manner on site, even in sometimes confined or busy environments.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a sense of responsibility in managing assigned tasks.
- Willingness to collaborate with various teams on site, with a solution-oriented mindset and respect for deadlines.
Benefits
- Dynamic company
- Permanent and temporary positions
