Locksmith / Certified Metal Constructor (M/F)

Within our Sigma Temporary Building and Industry department, we collaborate with several recognised companies in Valais, active in the fields of metal construction, locksmithing, and metal structure assembly.

To meet their needs, we are actively seeking a:

Your responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting technical plans and manufacturing drawings
• Taking measurements and preparing work
• Manufacturing various metal structures in steel, aluminium and stainless steel
• Cutting, marking, drilling, bending and assembling different parts
• Preparing elements before welding according to technical plans
• Carrying out welding work TIG, MIG-MAG and electrode
• Manufacturing locksmith works such as doors, gates, railings, stairs, barriers and metal structures
• Assembling, adjusting and finishing various elements
• Installing metal works directly on construction sites
• Using standard workshop machines and equipment
• Checking the quality and conformity of the produced parts
• Respecting safety rules, deadlines and quality requirements

Your profile:

• Certified metal constructor, locksmith or equivalent training
• Several years of experience in metal construction and locksmithing
• Very good mastery of reading technical plans
• Proven experience working with steel, aluminium and stainless steel
• Good knowledge of TIG, MIG-MAG and electrode welding processes
• Ability to work independently, both in the workshop and on site
• Trustworthy person, passionate about their profession and committed to delivering quality work
• Rigorous, precise and careful working method
• Good physical condition and team spirit
• Driving licence and vehicle essential
