Exciting tasks await:

• Leading and participating in development and innovation projects focusing on the nursing HF course, including the successful implementation of the nursing initiative and the design of a new curriculum following the revision of the framework curriculum
• Developing and documenting solutions (decision bases, concepts, reports) for the education course management, co-rectorate and school management with a focus on addressing new challenges in teaching and optimising collaboration within the HFGS as well as with external partner organisations (especially organisations in health and social sectors)
• Change management and quality assurance: implementing new concepts and solutions as well as evaluating and analysing the impact of implementations
• Promoting organisational learning: transferring and translating strategic developments into operational teaching and organisational practice, reflecting operational experiences into strategic decision bases, and securing, preparing and conveying knowledge and "learnings" in workshops and further training
• Research, scouting and networking to derive relevant solutions and innovation impulses for the HFGS with a focus on trends, good practice and benchmarks in the fields of tertiary education, organisation, and educational technology

What you bring:

• Master’s degree in a field relevant to education (e.g. nursing sciences, psychology, sociology, educational sciences, other humanities disciplines) and experience in lateral leadership or in leading and participating in projects in the fields of education, health, social affairs and/or organisational development
• Strength in analytical and networked thinking, curiosity and quick comprehension, a high degree of self-organisation and planning skills in complex situations, enjoyment in searching for, developing and trying out new ideas and sustainable solutions
• Ability to mediate, communicate and build relationships in a multidisciplinary environment of a higher vocational school
• Desire to work at the interface of higher vocational education, science and administration with a high degree of autonomy as well as changing tasks and work constellations (cross-sectional function) in a lively and committed team
• Advantageous: substantial own teaching or vocational education experience and work experience in the public-law context

Your working environment

The Didactics and Development Unit + Library acts as an interface unit of the HFGS. It connects the ICT infrastructure for teaching, the library and the operational teaching processes with conceptual development and innovation projects for the individual courses and the overall organisation. It works closely with the school management, course leaders, teachers and other specialist units of the HFGS as well as the central administration of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport (BKS). This enables teaching and working according to high qualitative standards as well as continuous innovation and development of teaching and organisation.
