Assistant Machine Operator / Civil Engineering Mason (M/F)

For a client in the region, we are looking for a long-term temporary assignment for a

Main Duties

• Assist the machine operator in daily operation and manoeuvres on site

• Carry out excavation and digging work in compliance with safety instructions

• Lay various types of pipes (water, gas, electricity, drainage)

• Implement trench and excavation shoring and bracing

• Perform civil engineering masonry work (inspection chambers, simple formwork, backfilling)

• Ensure guidance and safety of machinery on site

Desired Profile

• Training or proven experience in Civil Engineering / Masonry

• Proven experience as an assistant machine operator on site

• Demonstrated expertise in pipe laying and excavation shoring/bracing

• Driving licence (Category B) essential (M1 licence/construction machinery, an advantage)

• Excellent physical condition and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Sense of responsibility, strict adherence to safety standards (SUVA) and team spirit
