For our Motion, Power, Sensing Division site based in Fribourg, we are currently looking for an
The Position
As “Electronics Engineer“, you develop new electronic products, maintain the existing ones and develop all kind of signal conditioners and acquisition systems, using analog and/or digital components. The main responsibilities for this role are as follows:
- Definition of HW specifications and product architecture in line with the customer needs.
- Design, validation and verification of developed products.
- Development of optimal technical solutions considering Quality, Cost and Delivery, within the respect of the applicable standards.
- Establish the required documentation according to development processes in place.
- Define and control development tests and process test results.
- Participation in industrialization activities according to the process in place.
- Participation in redesign projects due to obsolescence.
- Provide support to solve technical issues and propose solutions.
- Provide technical support/inputs during proposal phase to acquire new projects, during life of the products as well as during root cause analysis.
Your Profile
- University Degree (Master preferably) in Engineering (electronic or microtechnology).
- At least 5 years (10 years preferred) of experience in industrial Electronic Engineering activities. Experience in the Aerospace sector is an asset.
- Strong experience in analog and digital electronic design, in particular signal conditioning, low and medium power AC-DC & DC-DC converters, etc…
- Excellent knowledge in numerical modeling and development tools (ALTIUM, CADENCE, SPICE, etc…)
- Knowledge of EMC in severe environmental conditions.
- Knowledge in optoelectronics and/or RF signal treatment is an asset
- Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers. Experience with test software development and scripting (Python, LabVIEW, etc… ).
- Strong team player, while being able to work independently
- Curious by nature and technology savvy
- Fluent in both French and English
