The Centre for Developmental and Neuropsychiatry (led by Dr. (BG) Sandra Schleusener and Tabea Blatter) is part of the Clinic for Consultation, Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry (Clinic Director Dr med Rafael Meyer). It offers a unique assessment and treatment service in Switzerland for people with intellectual developmental disorder (learning disability) and mental illness. In addition to a neuropsychiatric outpatient clinic, the centre has an interdisciplinary assessment unit, a consultation and liaison service for facilities for people with intellectual developmental disorder, as well as a specialised ward that meets the latest scientific findings and quality standards in terms of facilities and treatment concept.

• Completed specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy
• Interest in the specialised field of developmental and neuropsychiatry

Tasks

• Ensuring a high-quality and contemporary psychiatric-psychotherapeutic care based on legal and operational frameworks as well as professional recommendations (inpatient, outreach and outpatient)
• Leading the multiprofessional and interdisciplinary team taking into account the values and leadership principles of the PDAG
• Ensuring the achievement of current annual goals as well as other quantitative and qualitative goals of the organisational unit
• Ensuring careful structured case documentation
• Ensuring professional training or "on-the-job training" of subordinate employees as well as training supervisions
• Collaboration in the multiprofessional and interdisciplinary team
• Participation in the PDAG's training, further education and continuing education offerings
• Public relations and network maintenance in the context of various events
• Participation in projects, assignments and adjustments according to clinic management
• Participation in the PDAG duty system
