The Department of Dermatology and Allergology at the Cantonal Hospital Winterthur (KSW) is an established centre of expertise for dermatological and allergological issues in the region. With a broad outpatient and inpatient range of services, close interdisciplinary collaboration and cooperation with the Dermatological University Clinic Zurich, we offer a versatile and professionally demanding working environment. As a recognised FMH training centre for Dermatology and Venereology (Category C), we are also committed to training the next generation of doctors.
As part of the strategic development and targeted expansion of our department, we are looking for a Senior Consultant in Dermatology and Venereology with immediate effect or by arrangement.
This is us
Your tasks
- You independently care for patients in our broad outpatient dermatology clinic and contribute your professional expertise to the diagnosis and treatment of a diverse range of diseases
- As part of the inpatient consultation service, you advise the various clinics and departments of KSW on complex dermatological issues and maintain close interdisciplinary collaboration
- You are involved in the supervision and training of our assistant doctors and actively contribute to ensuring high-quality education
- You participate in the conceptual and organisational development of the department and have the opportunity to introduce your own professional focuses and innovative ideas
- Depending on your interests and qualifications, you can further develop existing specialist clinics, establish new services and deepen your knowledge in the field of allergology
Your profile
- You hold a Swiss or EU medical diploma recognised in Switzerland and have completed the specialist title in Dermatology and Venereology
- A pleasant working atmosphere in the team is important to you and empathetic interaction with patients is a matter of course for you
- Furthermore, you have very good German language skills in spoken and written form (language diploma B2) and possess good IT skills
