With its 800 collaborators, the Intercantonal Hospital of Broye (HIB) provides acute care and rehabilitation services. Its ambition is to be a dynamic, innovative health institution aiming for excellence for the benefit of the Broye population.
Equipped with four operating theatres, the HIB operating block mainly hosts orthopaedic, surgical, ENT, gynaecology-obstetrics, urology, ophthalmology interventions as well as endoscopy activities. To meet the many challenges ahead, HIB is looking for a:
Operating Theatre Scheduling Manager (M/F) at 100%
Your mission
Under the responsibility of the head nurse of the operating block, you ensure the planning and coordination of elective and outpatient surgical interventions by undertaking the following tasks:
- Develop and optimise the operating schedule and shifts, ensuring efficient use of the operating theatres;
- Coordinate activities related to the patient pathway using the technical platform of the operating block;
- Participate in and verify the collection and accuracy of information necessary for the preparation of interventions;
- Ensure optimal management of operating scheduling tools, notably the admission request, Ultra-Agenda and TrackPro;
- Manage programme changes, postponements as well as changes in times, rooms or order of procedures;
- Inform patients of their arrival time and any possible changes;
- Collect and coordinate information necessary for billing the activities of the operating block.
Your assets
- Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee, medical secretary diploma or equivalent qualification
- Fluency in spoken and written French
- Very good command of IT tools, ideally planning software and hospital information systems
- Organisational skills, rigour, autonomy and stress resistance
- Interpersonal skills, ease in relationships and ability to collaborate with various partners
