Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, an internationally active industrial company with a Swiss subsidiary, we are looking for reinforcement for the controlling team in the Zurich region. In this role, you are a sparring partner for the management and turn numbers into concrete recommendations for action. In addition to reporting and analyses, you actively shape the further development of the controlling landscape, especially in the area of Power BI and automation.

Responsibilities:
You are the contact person for managers on financial and business management issues and prepare decision-making bases for management and operational managers
You analyse business developments, identify opportunities and risks, and conduct variance and profitability analyses
You are responsible for monthly reporting and profit and loss accounting
You analyse project performance including provision valuation and POC calculations
You participate in forecasts, budgeting, and corporate planning and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
You further develop the reporting landscape, build Power BI dashboards and KPI systems, and automate existing processes and reports
You share responsibility for an effective internal control system, ensure high data quality, and optimise planning and control processes
Qualifications:
You have a commercial education with up to 3 years of experience in controlling or a completed business degree with a focus on controlling/finance
You have very good Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Power Query, or comparable BI solutions
Knowledge of Navision or other ERP systems is an advantage
You communicate confidently in German and English
You think entrepreneurially, work independently, and present yourself confidently to various stakeholders
