About the job

Your tasks:

• In consultation with the editor-in-chief, you bring to life the sections of the Salamandre Review (print), the S+ special edition and salamandre.org.

• You propose and produce written pieces that inspire wonder and curiosity about nature topics and help to understand environmental/biodiversity issues.

• You create a variety of articles: reports, investigations, interviews, analyses, narrative stories…

• You participate in the proofreading processes.

Required skills:

• At least 1 year of experience in journalism or writing, supported by excellent writing skills, a lively and vivid style, as well as a strong ability to simplify complex topics.

• A strong affinity for fauna, flora and biodiversity issues, demonstrated by passionate and regular field experience.

• Expertise in defining angles, using captivating narratives and selecting original topics, adapted to the various media platforms of La Salamandre.

• A desire and ease to practise field journalism, close to nature and the people who tell its stories, study it or wish to discover it.

• An interest in multimedia formats and social networks will be an advantage.
