As a Data Engineer in the Medical Data Products team, you ensure that clinical data can be used reliably, securely and efficiently. You develop and operate modern data solutions, integrate new data sources and ensure the sustainable provision of data for various application areas. In doing so, you create the technical foundation for data-based processes and decisions in healthcare.

Your main tasks
- Operation and continuous development of our clinical data platform and the data products built on it
- Development and maintenance of interfaces, data pipelines and integration solutions
- Accessing, integrating and harmonising new data sources
- Analysis of data requirements as well as development and implementation of suitable data solutions with specialist departments and stakeholders
- Ensuring data quality, traceability and reliable operational processes
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, architecture and operational concepts
Your profile
- University or university of applied sciences degree in computer science, medical informatics or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in data engineering as well as in building and operating data-oriented solutions
- Sound knowledge of SQL, C# with .NET, data modelling and processing large volumes of data with SSIS, Spark, dbt and Airflow as well as implementing Power BI reports
- Experience with data integration and streaming technologies as well as building robust data pipelines
- Good knowledge of Python, Java or comparable technologies and interest in modern platform, cloud and DevOps topics
- Structured and independent working style as well as a high awareness of data quality, data protection and sustainable solution architectures
