Today we are looking for one of our clients based in the canton of Geneva for a Interior Joinery Draughtsman M/F

Main mission

Design and produce technical plans for interior joinery projects, from study to preparation for manufacture and installation, in collaboration with management and production teams.

Responsibilities

Studies and technical design:

• Analyse client requests, plans and technical files.
• Create execution and manufacturing plans using Cadwork, AutoCAD or similar software.
• Design custom interior fittings: furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, doors, stairs and cladding.
• Take measurements and surveys on site.
• Prepare technical files for manufacture and installation.
• Verify technical feasibility and compliance with current standards.

Project preparation and follow-up:

• Draw up material lists and contribute to project costing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing workshops, fitters and suppliers.
• Ensure follow-up and updating of plans according to project developments.
• Participate in the technical coordination of sites and visit sites.

Your profile

• Federal VET Diploma in Carpentry or equivalent training in the wood sector.
• Proven experience in technical drawing, ideally in interior joinery and fittings.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Switzerland is essential
• Proficiency in a technical drawing software (Cadwork, AutoCAD or similar).
• Good knowledge of manufacturing and installation techniques in joinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans.
• Rigour, autonomy and organisational skills.
• Team spirit and good communication skills.
• Experience in custom fittings is an advantage.
