Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a Service Technician Heat Pumps / Refrigeration Technology for the commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of modern heat pump systems in Central Switzerland. You will independently manage the systems in the field and undertake electrical, hydraulic as well as refrigeration diagnostic and service work. In addition to technical support, you will instruct and advise customers on the operation and optimisation of the systems. Technically skilled career changers from HVAC, electrical or mechatronics are also given the opportunity to specifically train in heat pump and refrigeration technology.
Responsibilities:
Independent commissioning of heat pump systems and associated system components
Carrying out service, inspection and maintenance work
Systematic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on heat pump systems
Performing repairs on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and refrigeration components
Checking and optimising control parameters, heating circuits and system functions
Testing refrigeration circuit, hydraulics, sensors, actuators and control technology
Conducting functional checks and documenting measurement and operating values
Instructing customers regarding operation, use and efficient utilisation of the systems
Technical advice on service needs, system optimisations and replacement components
Digital recording of working hours, service reports and completed tasks directly from the field
Independent organisation of daily service and deployment planning from home
Occasional participation in the 24-hour on-call service
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training in HVAC, electrical, mechatronics or building technology
Experience or further training in refrigeration and heat pump technology is an advantage; structured induction for suitable career changers possible
Good knowledge of electrical engineering, hydraulics and technical fault diagnosis
Experience in service, maintenance or commissioning of technical systems is an advantage
Certification for refrigerants or willingness to obtain it
Category B driving licence and willingness for field service and occasional on-call duty
Ideal residence in Central Switzerland or the regions of Lucerne, Zug or Aargau
