These are your tasks
- You are responsible for accompanying, nursing, and caring for patients, also as a primary nurse
- You work actively and interprofessionally in various teams
- You raise patients’ awareness in dealing with the risk factors of spinal cord injury
- You advise and educate patients and relatives to build their knowledge about spinal cord injury for an independent life
- Once a year, you change departments and also gain insights into areas such as intensive care or Respicare
- You will be accompanied during your studies by a person responsible for education and a trainer
- Additional learning support sessions are provided by our Flying Teachers

- You have completed an apprenticeship as a Health Specialist (FAGE) or a vocational apprenticeship EFZ in another professional field, grammar school or specialised secondary school and want to start a career in nursing
- You have an interest in contact with people with spinal cord injuries
- Your teamwork skills, resilience, and flexibility complete your profile

The Swiss Paraplegic Centre in Nottwil is a private, nationally and internationally recognised specialist clinic for spinal cord, back, and respiratory medicine.
