Responsibilities:
With procurement analyses, you identify saving opportunities and define concrete improvement measures.
You ensure the supply of production in terms of availability, quality, and costs.
You examine international sources of supply for economic and strategic suitability.
You prepare decision-making bases on procurement strategies and external awards for management.
You analyse deviations from purchasing targets and adjust the corresponding control measures.
Together with internal specialist departments, you develop the supplier strategy and cooperation with key partners further.
By bundling purchasing volumes and suitable cooperations, you improve the negotiating position.
You coordinate the further development of digital purchasing processes and the automation of procurement with the responsible departments.
Qualifications:
Higher education in business administration or engineering, ideally complemented by a specialisation in supply chain management.
Several years of experience in purchasing in a manufacturing company, including strategic and operational tasks.
Proven experience in project management and coordination of different stakeholders.
Confident handling of SAP ERP as well as good knowledge of common office applications.
Experience in international supplier management and dealing with global procurement markets.
Ability to interpret key figures and derive economic decisions from them.
Responsible, quality-oriented working style with clear and cooperative communication.
Very good knowledge of German and English; Italian is an additional advantage.
