For our client, an established and successful company in the greater Landquart area, we are looking to strengthen the purchasing team with a technically skilled and entrepreneurial-minded individual as:

Technical Buyer (m/f, 80-100%)

Successfully combine technology, procurement and supplier management.

Your interesting area of responsibility includes, among others:

• Monitoring and analysing market, competition and industry trends
• Evaluation, selection and support of suppliers
• Maintenance and further development of long-term supplier relationships
• Optimisation and expansion of the existing product portfolio
• Interface function between suppliers, internal specialist departments and business partners
• Support of sales with technical and customer-specific solutions
• Maintenance and further development of article master data
• Participation in the support and updating of the online shop
• Support with invoice verification as well as general administrative purchasing activities
• Continuous optimisation of procurement processes and products

For this position you bring the following profile:

• Completed technical basic training EFZ, preferably in the electrical or mechanical field
• Experience in technical purchasing or a comparable function in a technical environment
• Strong technical understanding and quick comprehension
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Negotiation skills as well as enjoyment in exchanging with suppliers and business partners
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills, French is an advantage
• Independent, reliable and team-oriented personality
• High communication skills and social competence
